Bathroom installation
Every home should have a bathroom that looks great and feels relaxing. However, with many properties the bathroom has been installed into a small space and the units are worn and outdated.
Remodelling a bathroom is something that’s desperately needed in many homes and you can either choose to take the advice of a professional, or design the look yourself.
Whatever the case, it’s unlikely you’ll have the necessary skills to carry out a full installation which would include connecting the water system to sinks, toilets and baths, and rewiring the electrics.
Whether you use the same space as before or extend the bathroom, it’s likely you’ll need to have part or all of the installation completed by a specialist.
Bathroom installation tips
To get the most from your new bathroom it’s important to get the basics right and choose products that will complement the room.
Of course, you want a light and airy feel, and something that’s functional and practical, yet relaxing too.
Ease of maintenance
The last thing you want with your bathroom is something that isn’t easy to keep clean and tidy. The right surface is a priority and you also need to ensure there is suitable storage. Smaller bathrooms and en-suites must use the entire space too.
Services and windows
The space available in your bathroom is crucial and installations such as the bath and sink will be fitted to make the most of the room. Water services will therefore need to be specially modified to fit the new look, and this is something a professional will deal with. On top of this, windows and doors could also need relocating.
Finishing touches
The final touches of your bathroom are what will really make or break the end look. Everything from the mirrors and taps to the towel rails and dispensers will have a part to play. A specialist will know the best ways of adding class to the finished room.

They provide a screening service, of companies who have proven themselves as competent due to the ability to view feedback, etc. It provided me with a couple of options which allowed me to make an informed decision, on how to proceed.

Very easy to find tradesmen and get quotes
By Mr Stuart J.
After awarding the job to A Haywood, he asked for £500 upfront to buy materials and then procrastinated or simply didn't turn up to start work four times seemingly, for no justifiable reason. He eventually arrived to start (an hour late) on the fifth revised date and has been here for two days, and all seems to be going well. I contacted Quotatis to complain after the 4th failed start date and, of course, he did turn up on the 5th scheduled time, so I then wished I'd left it a bit longer to complain. Quotatis, however were on the phone to try and help within a couple of days and have been very obliging with advice and suggested ways to ensure he completes the work before any more money is paid. Thank you for your help. Stuart Jeffers
About UK
Energy Performance of Houses
Properties are given an energy rating dependent on exactly how efficient they are and ratings are displayed in the information below. This varies from A, by far the most energy efficient, to G, the very least efficient. With a higher rating you're more likely to have less expensive energy bills as more heat will probably be kept in the house. You can boost your home's efficiency with insulation including upvc double glazing, loft lagging or wall cavity insulation.
