Are you finding your conservatory will fluctuate in temperature with respect to the time of year? It's perhaps the most common predicament that homeowners experience a warm conservatory in the summer along with a cold one in the winter months. But this will no longer have to be the case.

In the event that your conservatory has been enduring from mixed temperatures, it's past time to look at a brand new roof to offer you greater climate control. With a new rooftop you'll manage to completely change the conservatory and create an atmosphere you can love regardless of the time of year.

Most conservatories are typical installed with a polycarbonate roof, yet over the years these have proved to be unreliable and inadequate at managing your home's temperature. Even glazed rooftops, which are somewhat better, still don't provide you a space to chill out in through the year.

This is where contemporary conservatory roofing techniques come into the equation. They can be fitted with minimum interruption to you and will instantly convert the conservatory. What's more, the conservatory's shape won't need to be modified in any way either.

Slate roofs for the conservatory is definitely a huge enhancement and it has several distinctive advantages such as its visual appeal and resilience. There's absolutely no denying these slate roofs look terrific and they match your home's charm to.

We chose this company to replace our conservatory roof. The roofers were amazing, working really hard to get the new roof on in just a day. Electrician was also quick and painless. Unfortunately the plasterer didn't show up on the allocated day. We understand this was due to a vehicle break in, but felt we should have been kept better informed as we thought he was going to turn up later in the day, but he never did. Plastering was done fine the following week. Quote did not include flashing and we paid extra to have this replaced. There was also a bit of a muddle over whether we had an electrical supply in the roof, and we nearly got charged extra for work that wasn't actually done. I think this was just an administrative mix up, but worth watching out for.

I started asking about companies on the 14th October, so it was a while before anyone contacted me. Also there was a mix-up at the beginning because although I had asked about my leaking conservatory roof, you came back saying there was a question about BLINDS! which is a bit confusing!

Extremely helpful as a range of prices were given to me. In the end the roof was replaced, good quality work by another company at a very affordable price

About South East

Energy Performance of Houses

The Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a method to measure how efficient houses are in Britain and it is based mostly on a rating between A and G, with A being the most efficient. So how could you boost your home's EPC score? This can be achieved with insulation or even a replacement central heating boiler. There are lots of central heating boilers in the Uk having a very low efficiency, losing hundreds of pounds on a yearly basis on energy bills. An upgraded system will straight away reduce your expenditure. Insulation is also popular, with loft lagging, wall cavity insulating material and upvc double glazing all possible. For the energy performance methods you want to carry out, makes certain to match around 4 cost-free quotations using our free and easy service.
