Controlling the way your home is heated is among the better ways to lessen costly energy expenses and leave you with far more disposable income at the end of every month. In fact, 60% of your power bill is from heating the home, so it's certainly an excellent place to start.

With the proper controls you'll be able to keep your property at a comfortable temperature, while at the same time not losing extra money on fuel. You'll also be able to keep your household carbon dioxide emissions down also.

Fortunately, heating control systems can be used with just about any central heating boiler, no matter the style or even age. This signifies there's a saving to be made if you go out there and get it.

By putting in a heating management system it can save you between £70 and £150 each and every year. As well as this there are a lot of CO2 emissions to be lowered as well and you can slash between 310kg and 630kg annually.

Also take into account the temperature you have your thermostat fixed on. By simply switching it down a single degree, you can save up to £75 a year and won't feel a difference in temperature either.

Alexandria

Alexandria is a town in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The town is situated on the River Leven, 4 miles (6 kilometres) north-west of Dumbarton. In 2001, the population of the town was 13,444. It is the largest town in the Vale of Leven. Alexandria developed on account of the textile business. In 1715, the very first bleachfields in the area were established at Dalquhurn, attracting seasonal labour from Argyll. As trade between Scotland and the United States grew, cotton was increasingly imported and processed in and around Glasgow. Soon, textile work within the Vale grew from just bleaching fabric to dying and printing it too. The town's conventional industries, most importantly cotton manufacturing, bleaching and printing, have been phased out. The town was redeveloped in the 1970s with a brand new town centre layout and traffic system. Nearby landmarks include Christie Park along with the fountain in the town centre. Alexandria sits on the former A82 main road between Glasgow and Loch Lomond. There are frequent bus services on the route and the town has a railway station on the rail line in between Balloch and Glasgow Queen Street. The town is famous as the only UK town with a railway station as well as a pub in the middle of a roundabout. The author A. J. Cronin's uncle owned a pub in Bridge Street. Alexandria Library is positioned on Gilmour Street. The town is home to the Vale of Leven football club, who play at Millburn Park. The club were a dominant force in early Scottish football history, winning the Scottish Cup in 1877, 1878 and 1879, and were founding members of the Scottish Football League. For all your house improvements, be sure that you employ trustworthy professionals in Alexandria to make sure you get the very best quality service.
