Holmfirth

Holmfirth is a village on the A6024 Woodhead Road in the Holme Valley, within the Metropolitan District of Kirklees, West Yorkshire, England. Centred upon the convergence of the Holme and Ribble rivers, Holmfirth is 6 miles (9.7 kilometres) south of Huddersfield and 13 miles (21 km) northeast of Glossop. It mostly includes stone-built cottages snuggled in the Pennine hills. The Peak District National Park around Holme Moss is 4 miles (6.4 kilometres) to the south of the community. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, Holmfirth was when a centre for pioneering film-making by Bamforth & Co., which later switched to the production of saucy seaside postcards. In between 1973 and also 2010 both Holmfirth and the Holme Valley became popular as the filming location of the BBC's sitcom Last of the Summer Wine.

Then leave to dry off properly.

✓ Sanding. This step is only meant for walls with rough spots on its surface. Dull the uneven spots with a sandpaper, wipe away the dust and leave to dry. Use a fine grit sandpaper to sand the surfaces and let it dry properly.

✓ Priming. Prime the wall to get the most out of your paint. They work to disguise imperfections and create a smooth surface on which you can work on.
