CK Architecture Company description

CK Architecture was founded by Charlotte Knott in 2018. Charlotte is a Chartered Architect who has worked with practices in Hereford and Worcester since 2009.
Charlotte's interests lie in all forms of architecture, from small extensions and re-modelling projects, to new build houses and other types of building. She is and advocate of sustainable architecture and enjoys designing to a high degree of sustainability including utilising high levels of thermal insulation, passive ventilation and solar gain to minimise the reliance on fossil fuels; including technologies such as photovoltaics, ground and air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting and recycling, high levels of air tightness & mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems (MVHR); and using natural materials that are locally sourced where possible.
Charlotte is soon to undertake the Certified PassivHaus Designer course and hopes to be able to offer this service in the near future.
Charlotte is also a member of The AECB (The Association for Environment Conscious Building).
